Organizational Sales
Sales isn't a department — it's a mindset every leader needs. We talk openly about what's working, what isn't, and how to build a sales culture that doesn't rely on pressure to perform.
Operational Efficiency
Efficiency shouldn't mean doing more with less until something breaks. We dig into the real trade-offs behind streamlining a business — and how to make smart calls without losing what makes your team good at what they do.
Change Leadership
Change is constant, and most people have felt the wrong side of it. We talk candidly about leading through restructuring, growth, job loss, and company transitions — with the honesty and care that moments like these actually require.
Honest Feedback
Feedback only works if it's real. We help leaders build the muscle for direct, respectful, useful conversations — the kind that build trust instead of eroding it.
Most leadership training happens top-down: someone tells you the "right" way to lead, and you nod along. That's not us. The 52 Academy is built around open discussion — leaders talking with leaders one on one, not someone talking at them without knowing their business.
We ask the uncomfortable questions. We say the quiet part out loud. And we believe that's exactly how better leadership gets built.
We built The 52 Academy because too many leadership programs teach people to manage from a distance — to protect the org chart instead of the people in it. We think leadership works better as a conversation than a command.
Along her own leadership journey, our co-founder, Laura Kay Sheely, has found the same questions sitting just beneath the surface of most leaders' worries: How do I grow revenue without losing trust? How do I run a tighter operation without burning out my team? How do I lead through change without pretending it's easy? How do I give feedback that people actually use?
Through the process of publishing two Amazon best-selling books and speaking to leaders across the United States, she has gathered powerful insights — and now shares them with our cohort.
